Featured in this exhibition from private collections are sentimental scenes of Milwaukee\, Washington\, and Ozaukee Counties including an all-American baseball game captured in soft\, hazy afternoon lighting\; the everyday American family enjoying a lazy day in a clean\, manicured park\; and the quaint and quiet downtown streets of rural towns. Sinclair?s charming paintings combine the American Scene?s mission with distinct warm tones and atmospheric qualities reminiscent of Impressionism.
